  1. I’ve been to Paris in the spring and
    seen the graves in Père Lachaise as

    black cats wander among the stones.
    As a child I frequented cemeteries too.

    I’m drawn to those liminal spaces like
    Sedona and Iona, places where

    time and space and I collide.
    I’m a pilgrim walking a personal camino.

    Today, I roam the streets full of my own
    desire, a need to discover the depth

    of wonder in a small Pennsylvania town.
    I’m at home, yet still at a loss for now.
