25) Take the Long Road

List three of each of the following

animal
flower
generic toy
body part
emotion
color (the specific sort, like cerulean or paprika)

or for some of the more “interesting” names:
https://www.ppgpaints.com/color/color-families

Choose one word from each of those lists, then create to three pairs. ( maybe mine came to: wolf, iris; doll, earlobe; anger, ginger. Or:
chickadee/puzzlement
aster/ankle
kite/dorian gray

Now. Without putting too much thought into it, write a five-line poem for each of your pairs. You can just blather if it comes to that. (of course, then you would feel compelled to go back and un-blather what you wrote.)

You can stop there. Or you can use your little poems as a springboard (or three springboards) and wind up with something else entirely.

      1. I think my crossed eye balls were thinking it was going to be before not after the Publication thing… Or maybe there was a time slip in the universe and I just couldn’t access it. But I found it (by other means and) later that same day… where I am guessing it always was. 😉
